GOD’S HEART UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
By Al Collins
Have you ever wondered if God rests?
“And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.” Genesis 2:2-3
OK, a lot of you knew that one, but, do you know where He rested?
Where did He go on vacation?
The other day I was in Father’s throne room. I asked Him about a place that He had shown me previously, that was behind His throne. He was about to show me something that few have ever seen or heard about. The place where He rests!
He stood up, as I walked toward Him. As we walked behind His throne, an entire world appeared. Birds flying; animals walking around; flowers and mountains. The colors of everything were blazing! Everything was in multiple dimensions, not just three dimensions. Hard to explain. As we stepped in, the ground was like walking on a pillow. Everything is alive.
Father says, “You have entered the warmest part of My heart. I rest here.” I say, “Father, it’s so beautiful. Can I stay?” He smiles, “My son, your heart has its own place that is special to you. Create it. I made your chateau; lake and mountains, to match your heart’s loves. You may change it as you like.”
My head was taking all of this in. There was really too much to fathom. “Father, I will move as You will for me. I escape into Your arms and heart. Thank You for sharing your love (inviting me into the special rest area of His heart) to me. Please bring me back here, so I can take all of it in.”
We sit on two golden chairs to gaze upon it all. It looks more real, vibrant and colorful, than anything I’ve ever seen in heaven. Hard to imagine. Father says, “You are welcome here with Me My son. My love for you is great.”
God has so much for us that us unimaginable.
Build up your treasures in heaven!
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Design your place of rest in the spiritual realm. Then, go on vacation! Why wait till later?
