People dream of going to heaven or hope that they’ll go to heaven some day or expect to go to heaven one day. Others don’t believe in heaven at all.

There are many things that we can discuss about heaven and how to get there, but let’s briefly see what heaven is and how we can visit there now!

Jesus said in Matthew 12: 44-46 that heaven is a kingdom of great value to be sought for and obtained. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

In Matthew 7:21, Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” We must do Father’s will to enter the kingdom of heaven.

That’s great news, as Father tells us in His Word what He expects from us!

Is there any way that we can visit heaven now!

Yes!

I have visited heaven many times in the spirit!

In 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 we see that Paul describes visiting heaven. “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

I have walked with Jesus in heaven’s gardens; I have visited my home by the mountain lake that has beautiful fruit trees next to it with huge fruit, with a stream; I have been to the throne room of Father many times and the court of heaven. I have seen and worked with many angels in the heavenly realm.

Some of the ways to enter into heaven now are mentioned in Psalm 100, “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”

There is much that can be learned about visiting the kingdom of heaven now, which Father wants us to do, as he wants us operating in the spirit! Those who operate in the flesh or in religion do not please God.

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8

You must operate in the spirit to please God and to be able to visit heaven now!
