LIVING IN SIN

God has asked me to write about the reality of “living in sin”. This can easily be a book on its own, but most people wouldn’t buy it, as most either don’t believe that they live in sin or don’t want to look at themselves that hard, as they want to keep their pet sins.

Actually, this compares to the size of some books/booklets that people have sold (and I’ve bought) for $5-15.

This one is free.

And might save your life or the life of someone you know! If you believe God.

When I was growing up, living in sin meant that a man and a woman were not married and living together. Back then, this was a shocking and unacceptable sin in society. People overlooked their own living in sin activities. They still do today.

Almost 100% of Christians are currently living in sin.

Living in sin meaning, perpetual, on-going sin that they don’t confess to God, don’t repent of and seek forgiveness for, don’t think is a sin or best yet, confess, repent of, yet with every intention in their mind and heart of continuing in sin (e.g. confessions to God to receive absolution for sin that they know they will continue). This is fake repentance that is not forgiven.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7

Let’s face it, sin is that huge, dirty, politically incorrect, 3-letter word that isn’t said out loud. Certainly, God forbid, not mentioned or confronted in a “church” or “ministry”. That would turn people “off” and send them to a more accepting “church”. Lost revenue, don’t you know?

Sure, some “churches”, some “ministries, some “leaders” confront what they consider sin. Other “lesser” sins they let go.

Big or small. Sin is sin to God.

So, what is sin anyway?

That’s easy. If you’ll let it be. God defines sin, not people.

“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” 1 John 3:4

The word translated “lawlessness” is the Greek word anomia, meaning without law or against law. The concept conveyed here is that sin is an active violation of God’s laws and basic moral principles. This refers to actions that are not just outside the bounds of God’s law, but actions that are in deliberate rebellion against those laws—deliberately trampling on and rejecting that boundary.

Briefly, sin is rebellion against God’s Way.

Next argument might be, which god is God, so people may know the correct Way?

This is covered in our book (God’s and mine), The Way-Visit Heaven Whenever You Want, in Chapter 4 Science and God. The real God Creator is revealed in His Word, the Bible, written by God through men. Religionists and nones who believe in alternatives will be destroyed by God.

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.” Philippians 3:18-19

Every person is born into sin (fallen nature) except Jesus.

“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.” Psalm 51:5

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:8

“For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.” Ecclesiastes 7:20

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Jesus allows us to escape sin that leads to death.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

Awesome! So, all religions and people that think they believe in Jesus have their sins covered and are good to go?

Man-made religious structures, denominations, organizations, “churches”, don’t follow God’s Way. They compromise, cherry-pick, invent ways, and ignore God’s Way. In other words, they operate in rebellion or live in sin.

Yeah, but Al, they’re not all bad. Most do really good things for their communities. There’s a lot of “good” people that are leaders and who “go to church”. Not everything they teach and follow is rebellion.

That’s a really nice, feel-good philosophy or doctrine, that I’ve heard a lot over the years, but that doesn’t pass the God smell test on sin.

“But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags.” Isaiah 64:6

“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Galatians 5:9

What does Jesus mean, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump”?

It means even one sin, which includes false doctrine or following an alternate Way of God, a.k.a. living in sin, mixes in with everything.

6” Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”

8 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread?9 Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? 10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? 11 How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?—but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6-12

So as an example, 1% sin mixes in with the other 99% of following God’s Way to wreck 100%.

Yeah, but Al, what about mercy, grace, love, covered by The Blood, once saved always saved and all that stuff, that Christians get.

Once saved always saved is a joke doctrine invented by satan and followed by the deceived. God’s Word is clear on what constitutes getting and keeping salvation, which has been covered in the books, The Silver Bullet of God and the Way.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23

God gives us His mercy, grace, love and forgiveness, when we seek it. It’s not automatic or obtained through being “nice” or through “good works” or by “going to church”.

When we fail and fall into sin, we should humbly repent, seek forgiveness from God and intend not to sin again.

Yes, people will be tempted more after that. Yes, many will fail again. But the point is to move away from sin, not accept it. Not live in it.

For those who rebel against God’s Way, who keep or live in sin, have made the decision they want it. This decision means they refuse God’s Way.

Don’t plead ignorance. It’s each person’s responsibility to see what God wants of us. Blindly accepting some religion’s word on sin and salvation is a foolish and deadly way to live life.

Many leaders deliberately preach and teach lies, that they know are lies. You can’t spend years in a Bible College or seminary studying one book and pretend you don’t know what it says!

So, how does a Bible-carrying, scripture-spouting, God-loving person end up living in sin?

Mostly it’s ignorance and delusion of what God says, besides open, deliberate rebellion, thinking their sins are covered automatically or that God will just “wink-wink-nod-nod” at sin.

Most people live in and will die in sin.

Let’s look at a few things that God says and a few statistics.

Jesus said, ““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15

Over the years I’ve talked to many people and conducted numerous deliverances. I’ve only met a very small handful of people who said that they had forgiven everyone. That’s the 2nd question I ask in a deliverance. If they harbor bitterness, resentment, offence, unforgiveness, then they are living in sin.

I pointed that out to one life-long leader in her 70’s who refused to forgive someone who wronged her when she was a child. I told her, “You know, your position means you’re not saved”. She said she didn’t care. She refused to forgive this person, even after 70 years!
How foolish.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to continue in wrong relationships. God doesn’t ask us to do that. Many wrongly think that we have to put up with anything people say and do to us.

Living in sin opens wide the door to evil spirits. Living in sin gives them the right to attack you with disease and early death. Then there is the 2nd death.

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

Let’s examine that last scripture a bit. Murder is more than physically murdering someone.

Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.” Matthew 5:21-22

Notice He said, without cause. You can be angry at people with cause, such as people who teach false doctrines. Such people, especially leaders, are teaching people to live in sin and shoveling them by the billions into their 2nd death!

An Esquire poll revealed that 68% of Americans get angry at least once a day.

Many live-in anger (murder) and never repent of it.

Let’s look at “abominable” in Revelation 21 scripture. Abominable means cursed. Can a Christian live in the sin of being cursed?

God says, Yes!

“Let me be blunt: If one of us—even if an angel from heaven!—were to preach something other than what we preached originally, let him be cursed. I said it once; I’ll say it again: If anyone, regardless of reputation or credentials, preaches something other than what you received originally, let him be cursed.” Galatians 1:8-8 MSG

That means that every, single false doctrine being taught, curses the one who says it.

You don’t have to be a leader. It can be any self-proclaimed christian spouting off some religious nonsense, whether in ignorance or not. Every mainstream denomination has false doctrines. False doctrines are also God’s Way that people ignore or substitute with alternative interpretations.

As Jesus said, “Beware of… the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

So now lets’ look at “sexual immorality” in Revelation 21.

What does God say that covers?

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Homosexuals means sexual intercourse with the same sex. (70% of roman catholics accept homosexuality. Acceptance figures in the 45-60% for many protestant denominations.)

Fornicators means those unmarried engaging in sexual intercourse. (According to the National Association of Evangelicals, 80 percent of unmarried evangelical Christians between ages 18-29 admit to having had premarital sex.)

Adulterers means those engaging in sexual relationship outside of marriage.

Let’s look at God’s definition of adultery.

Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5:27-28

This covers not only the physical act but just looking at someone outside your marriage is adultery. This includes pornography.

A few Barna Group stats from a survey conducted in 2018:

68% of church-going men and over 50% of pastors view porn on a regular basis. Of young Christian adults 18-24 years old, 76% actively search for porn.

Only 13% of self-identified Christian women say they never watch porn—87% of Christian women have watched porn.

55% of married men and 25% of married women say they watch porn at least once a month.

That’s a lot of professed Christians living in sin, just in this one area.

OK, but what about those who divorced and remarried. That’s not adultery is it?

Depends.

“Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.” Luke 16:18

However, 2 exceptions being… Jesus said, “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Matthew 19:9

or…

“But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases.” 1 Corinthians 7:15

Pornography is a word based on immorality.

Divorce is acceptable for immorality (includes even watching pornography) and for abandonment by one spouse of the marriage. Which begs the question. Are both able to remarry?

Jesus’ meaning is, the guilty party in a divorce is committing adultery if they remarry, the victim is free to remarry. If both are guilty of adultery, then both continue as adulterers if they remarry. This includes a single person marrying a guilty divorced person.

Jesus said to an adulteress, “Go and sin no more”. John 8:11

Meaning, you’re forgiven but don’t go back to living in sin.

So, how does this play out for forgiveness and restoration with God?

How can a person be forgiven and restored if they decide to continue to live in adultery?

Whether continually watching porn, lusting for others, remarrying after a divorce (other than God’s 2 exceptions) or leaving a marriage to marry a lover or mistress, it’s all living in sin… adultery.

How can a person stop adultery if they continuing living with a forbidden spouse?

Paul advises Christians to hand adulterers over to satan.

“hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 5:5

Any leader you know of who’s done that?

Have you ever done that? I have.

I advised two leaders of their “church”, that God’s Word specifically instructed them to do this with several people who were openly fornicating (two were on their worship team) and another couple who were living together. I was told by these two “leaders”, that “we all sin” and “that we don’t judge, we just love them”. They did nothing but attack me for exposing false doctrine with God’s truth. I disassociated myself with all of them.

Living in a sinful life is living in sin. I realize people don’t like God’s Way on this but it is what it is.

How about liars mentioned in Revelation 21?

Statistics on Lying by Brandongaille… by the age of four, 90% of children have learned the concept of lying. Based on studies performed in the past, it is estimated that 60% of adults can not have a ten-minute conversation without lying at least once. Within those ten minutes, an average of three lies were told.
That’s living in sin, that most people think nothing of.

These are just a few examples I’ve brought up on living in sin.

I didn’t even get into the huge topic of pride?

How about those operating in the flesh instead of the spirit?

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8

How about those who follow their own flesh driven agendas to run their “church” or “ministry” or “christian programs”. This is a typical, rampant form of idolatry.

“Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin”. Isaiah 30:1

“There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12

God says we’re not to associate with people who practice and live in sin, otherwise, we are in rebellion and end up living in sin.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

“But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.” 1 Corinthians 5:11

“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.” Romans 16:17

Even approving of sin is living in sin, such as the stats above of those who don’t practice but approve of homosexuality.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” Romans 1:24-32

I’ve disassociated myself with many leaders and people who were living in sin. Includes “nice” people, friends and family. Those who choose their own way, embrace society’s norms, conduct their own personal agendas, follow false doctrines, despite what sort of “love” or “what’s the harm” spin they put on it, it’s still rebellion.
God’s wisdom advises me to ignore such people.

“A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, to understand a proverb and an enigma, the words of the wise and their riddles.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:5-7

“There is no good way to answer fools when they say something stupid. If you answer them, then you, too, will look like a fool. If you don’t answer them, they will think they are smart.” Proverbs 26:4-5ERV

We just read that God says they’re cursed. Living in sin.

Self-professed Christians used to laugh at my Mom for living God’s Way. They told her she was more heavenly minded than any earthly good! “Christian” relatives thought she was crazy going around healing people and talking about God!

People tell Rhoda and I that we’re too black and white on what God says. Leaders say we’re stupid for doing spiritual warfare. Too extreme. We’re not extreme or fringe or radical. We’re just acting like normal saints, royal-priests, lords and joint-heirs with Christ, currently seated in the heavenly realms, are supposed to act!

So, now, back to my original statement, is it safe to say that what we see in religious doctrines, society and statistics, that almost 100% of Christians are living in sin, according to God?

How about you?

Any people that need to be dumped out of your life? Perhaps turned over to satan.

Any areas that need repentance, forgiveness, discontinued?

Perhaps you need to abandon religion or stop living in the flesh (sin) and start embracing and operating in certain activities that God expects, like moving in the supernatural?

Maybe you need to stop conducting your ministry under your own mindset and flesh-driven agendas and start operating in the spirit under God’s daily guidance.

If you’re having difficulty tuning into God’s personal plans for you, practice spending time with Him, to develop your relationship and spiritual senses.

If stuck, a good rule of thumb or measuring stick is this scripture…

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:12

Whatever you’re doing or approving of, can you see it currently being done in Heaven? If not, stop wasting your time. Stop living in foolishness. Stop living in sin. Start acting like a citizen of heaven.

“For our citizenship is in heaven.” Philippians 3:20

Do it.

Jesus said, “Go now and leave your life of sin.” John 8:11 NIV

He’s not kidding.

And now that you know all this, don’t ignore it or go back to living in sin, because…

“It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.” 2 Peter 2:21-22

Don’t plead ignorance at your trial for living in sin.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17

I can sense the “Al, you’re too harsh” comments in the wind.

No, harsh is false leaders and false religions leading people to their deaths.

Harsh is not revealing to people what God says about living in sin.

Saving even one from the lake of fire is worth all the spite, hatred, false accusations, lies, mocking and backstabbing I receive from exposing Christian counterfeits.

Jesus says I’m blessed for it.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10

So, bring it! I love to expose fakers and lies to save lives and get more blessings!

I love wolf hunting!

Abandon living in sin. Then put on the crown that is yours, sit on your throne and take up your responsibilities!

“I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.” Psalm 82:6

Good Hunting!

Wonderful message that is a timely warning to those who love Jesus’s appearance when He comes for His own. Religious fraud, outright lies and deception by church or religious leaders has been exposed. I praise the Lord for showing me the right Way in this message!

Thanks for this powerful message. I have struggled with presumptuous sin for years, reading your the two books saved me from the path leading to destruction. The truth must be said because that’s how we obtain our deliverance. I’m not completely there yet, but the experience thus far is amazing.
